Day Spaaaaa - ahhhhhhh......

My sister in law recently took an impromptu trip to New York City with her girlfriend. They took in the sights and pampered themselves to a NY wellness center.
This is the busiest lady I know, she runs a very successful business, has three teens and an always impeccable home...with dinner in the crock pot most days!
All that PLUS standing dates to take good care of herself, working out, eating right, trips to day spas. Ugh, that is what makes me most envious. I run myself into the ground more days than not. In getting it all done, I sacrifice myself.
In my fantasy life, I take trips like that with a girlfriend. Visiting a wellness center, peaceful, pampered. ahhh. Maybe I need to just schedule a trip, instead of just dreaming.....
A REAL break from work, not just stepping away so I can throw a load of laundry in the washing machine or drive a child to their next event.. I'd be refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to go again.
Then again, no work, no phone, no kids, no demands... how would they ever get me out of there!
