Dollar Stretcher.....Should've had a V-8!

I'll admit, coupons are not my forte. My mom works magic with those special codes and super saver deals, I, on the other hand, tend to have "I should've had a V-8 type moments" when it comes to saving money.
Slowly but surely I am trying to create a system where I check for online deals and discounts before making a purchase. But, failed again. My son recently purchased a pair of very nice running shoes, full price. UGH!
But, I will not do that twice, my daughter and younger son both need shoes time to reach for that V-8, and look for online shoe discounts.
Thankfully Zappos.com coupons are plentiful. The savings are insane, 30, 40, 70% off! I have seen Zappos ads before, but did not put two and two together, when I needed something, I still, like a schmuck, went to the big sporting goods store.
$130 dollar Avia Avi-Quest shoes for $44. makes me ill.
or these, 75 dollar shoes for $30....unreal.
Like clipping coupons before grocery shopping, checking for Zappos shoes coupon codes before shopping has to become second nature. Saving money should be second nature, if there I can save 50-70 percent, why wouldn't I give it a go?
Even with six athletic people in my family, shoes are not a common purchase, well, not as common as say, printer ink, or other office supplies. Yep, there are printer ink coupon codes too, and books and costumes....Seriously, I have been throwing my money away.
No more. The buck stops HERE (in my wallet!)
