I firmly believe that people can learn far more than they give themselves credit for...and I also believe that most people are living far below their potential. Stretch, learn, grow....
But
With that said, I have to admit I have a mental block when it comes to math, specifically anything to do with finances. Start talking about insurance - furgetaboutit.... I know it is important, I've seen what lack of it can do. There are solid reasons to look into extra life insurance and income protection insurance. Apart from car insurance, medical, dental, vision, pet and life, there is the lesser known income insurance that helps secure your future.
Thankfully there are people who specialize in number crunching. That is something else I believe....while it may be possible to learn a lot about everything, it is also not a bad idea to specialize and share your knowledge. This nifty system balances out the world- well, in a perfect world.
Income protection insurance is, in a simplified definition, protects income in the event of a disability. It can secure 75-percent of their salary, making it a
real safety net, unlike vision insurance which....errrrr - I won't go there. (bad experience with so-called "coverage")
Back to the main idea, immerse yourself your specialty and stretch your mind and body beyond what you think is possible....surprise yourself.
......and then help your fellow man.
