Transformation Time

It's time.
Time to transform.
Welcome to the Wonder Woman Makeover page. This is where I will be posting my transformation from "soft" freelance writer, to Amazon woman.
Three years ago I was a waitress at a popular comedy club. We were told to dress up during the week of Halloween. So for 4 days I was Wonder Woman, with my dark hair, blue eyes and height it was a no-brainer. Even won the costume contest grand prize!
A little while after that event, I decided to start taking freelance writing seriously. My focus was on making a full time income, workouts were replaced by marathon session in my desk chair. Water and healthy meals turned into coffee and grazing all day.
My income goal has been met. I write full time for several online companies, Demand Studios, AOL, Yahoo, Made Manual, Examiner and others. Waitressing isn't necessary anymore. (Love that fact!)
But now, I need to turn my attention to what this freelance focus has done to my health, weight and fitness level. It's not pretty. In a little less than 2 years I have gained 20 pounds and doubt a mile run would even be possible.
This MUST change, and so the Wonder Woman Makeover is born! Strong, capable and "fierce" (like Tyra Banks would say) is the goal...not just thin, not just fit, more like Wonder Woman!
I will be blogging my progress, writing tips and linking to other good information. Ready, set...GO!
